As I now look back on the season and the six-year journey we have made together here, I am filled with pride. What we have slowly but steadily built together is now beginning to bear fruit. Through hard work, patience, and a shared commitment, we have not only put Huddinge Basket on the map, we have also contributed something special to Swedish basketball.

This season has been a great success for our club. The men’s team delivered a fantastic performance in Superettan and finished the season as league champions, something not many believed was possible when the season began. At the same time, the women’s team completed a strong and impressive season in Basketettan, continuing to demonstrate the quality and development within the club.

Alongside our senior teams, our broader kids- and youth program continues to grow and develop. We have teams for children and young people of all ages, as well as our recreational teams. Throughout the year, both Easy Basket and seriespel have been played, and we clearly see the results of our coaches incredible work in developing, strengthening, and inspiring our players, both on and off the court.

We have also participated in several tournaments around in Sweden. One that truly stands out is Lions Cup, where our teams delivered strong performances and were rewarded with both trophies and individual medals. It is proof of the development and culture that we are creating and allowing us to grow together within the club.

What a season we have had. We are now wrapping up the game season with our final tournament before summer, Lampe Challenge, and we do so with energy, joy, and confidence in the future. We will also celebrate our summer closing event on June 1st at Rådsparken.

Finally, I would like to say thank you. Thank you to all players, coaches, team managers, parents, volunteers, supporters, and partners who in big ways and small have been part of the club’s journey since it all began. This has been built on pride, love of the game and a determination never to give up. Together, we have created something truly special and the journey have only just begun.
